This short video clip is taken from my NEW YOU program, where I discuss the importance of self-compassion as a prerequisite for all healing, as well being one of the most effective ways to combat resistance in our lives. We all encounter resistance, knowing that we need to eat healthily, exercise, meditate, process our emotions, and take care of ourselves, but we often struggle to do so.
The quickest way to move through resistance is to meet it with compassion and understanding for yourself. We cannot uncover our patterns and change them if we cannot explore this resistance with kindness and compassion.
So, I want you to pick an area of your life where you're experiencing resistance and follow the steps in the guided exercise (video) to practice meeting the resistance with compassion, so you can move past it.
